Through this project, we have been able to establish MKULIMA BIASHARA COMMUNITY SACCO to serve the financial needs of smallholder farmers and agricultural produce business community, living within Rabai and adjacent regions. The project has also formed 3 community self help groups to champion the economic interests of youth, women and elderly members of the community namely; Rabai Ecotourism Self-Help Group, Rabai Heritage and Environment Conservancy Self-Help Group; and Rabai Indigenous Community Knowledge and Traditions Self-Help Group.
This is part of the project sustainability mechanisms inbuilt within the project to ensure project beneficiaries sustain the outcomes of the project interventions.
